  • A few years ago I bought a whole roll of clear cellophane (can't remember where I got it now) and it has been SO useful.

there's some on Ebay that seems a reasonable price here 5m for £2.50 incl p+p, or there's this chap selling rolls of it, you could get 100m for 31p a metre incl vat and p+p. I've had mine so long I have no idea how much I paid for it except I know it was cheap!

It's great for loads of things
  • We always save and wipe the cellophane wrapping from bunches of flowers (those were the days) to smarten up home-picked bunches or other presents.

we got ours from a florist, maybe you could go into your local shop and ask if they would get you a roll, or at least point you in the direction of the local supplier

Off down town later, I think I shall walk to get some exercise as well as saving £1.60 buss fare. Will get the buss back though with the shopping.
I am thinking of buying some bright coloured leg warmers along with other things.
If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

  • Further to using the bread bag instead of cling film for my lunch sandwiches, when using the last slices of a loaf, I now re-use the bread bag. My cling film usage has plummeted.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

I know this is really naughty but I must admit to DH making up whisky and water in an empty water bottle before going to the pub:eek:

He buys the first drink and keeps topping it up when no-ones looking. It needs to be a busy night though to avoid the embarassment of beng spotted:D
