I bought a bar of that for about £12 but I found it enormous and knew I would drop it in the shower so I got a big knife and cut it into two more mangaeable sized pieces. The first one lasted about 18 months, and I'm now on the second. (Some people would say that you should ue it for that long due to bacteria build up etc. but as it gets wiped clean every day, I reckon it's ok. I've not died of any sort of infection at least...)Please call me 'Pickle'

That's a good idea, I'll try that next time (probably in about 8 months when I've finished my existing bar!).
I'm sure Clinique would love to discontinue this so that we are all forced to buy the more expensive liquid cleansers but I love the soap (having been a committed liquid cleanser girl for loads of years before that!).Piglet

I was surprised at it myself: I bought it on recommendation from a friend and it was well worth it. It's a good cleanser for daily use without being too harsh. (When cutting it use a serrated one as it would be blinking difficult otherwise!)Please call me 'Pickle'

try pharma nord's bio msm and silica and extra vitamin c for healing blemishes from inside rather then expensive creams...improvement in hair and nails will be added bonus0 -
For a cheap facial scrub I use sugar with a tiny bit if water added whilst in my palm. I then rub it over both palms and scrub away on my face
Just make sure you rinse well otherwise you might find sticky bits in your hair line LOL!

My student daughter found ordinary sudocreme from the chemist worked really well on calming down spots. Its white of course but alright to use at home and the big tubs are cheap from the chemist .0

Re. the clinique soap. Do you use the normal or oily skin one?
I find anything too harsh makes my skin crack! And still leaves the spots.:(0 -
Last year I bought two hard-backed plain notebooks from "The Works" (shame they've gone now
) into which I copied all the favourite family recipes from Lentil Lasagne to Sultana Slab.
I did a calligraphy course a while back so I was able to make them look presentable and I gave them to my daughters as Yule stocking fillers. They were really touched to have these favourite recipes from when they were small all in one place and nicely presented. Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Hi everyone, for me Clinique soap was too harsh for me personally (and expensive) as I have dry sensitive skin but I have found that an exfoliating cleanser made from ground almonds, almond oil, ground porridge and some ground lavender, plus a couple of drops of lemon oil, is lovely and delicate plus smells yummy. It lasts a couple of months and costs pennies to make. I have more info on my blog for beauty bits if anyone would like to read more (click my username) - like making your own Fabulous face oil for a few pence too xMFW #185

I did the same thing when I was going to move out and get married. I went through my Mum's recipe books and picked out all my favourites and wrote them in a pretty notebook. The other day when we were all on holiday together, I cooked a recipe of hers that she had forgotten about so I showed her my notebook and she was amazed! There were loads in there that she had forgotten as she never goes through her recipe books anymore, and now she wants a recipe book like mine with all the best recipes in!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
