I switch off the oven for the last 5-10 minutes of cooking time.

    heh I do that

best ones might be to do with reducing excess weight on a car and also try to maintain a more constant speed, reduce speed gradually approaching red lights.
Dont fill a full tank of petrol when driving round town, half will do.

Check the tyre pressures dont get low, if you remember how it feels on a bike the car has to put in much more effort

Just called lakeland and this is not back in stock til 13th july:mad:
    really want one now!:D

If you have a "BodyCare" shop near you, have a look for Johnsons Junior (turquoise bottle) or Kandoo (purple & green bottle) foaming wash.

These are really cheap (think I paid £1 each) and can be refilled with bath foam and water. I use around a fifth foam to four fifths water, give it a shake to mix and it lasts for ages as a hand wash.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I did the same thing a couple of weekends ago and bought 12 free range medium sized eggs from the market for £1.40. The eggs were layed by hens belonging to the farmer who had the market stall - fab!!

re Kirstie shouse last night, wish she had shown more about flowers and less about her pathetic knitting, she might as well of just asked the knitting lady to make the whole thing and not bother with the lesson!

hand tied bouquets look lovely and can be wrapped in a double layer of thick cellophane which you then fill with water(called aqua pack by florists) a great hostess gift as no need to arrange when busy serving dinner :)

grow lots of foliage in your garden and then you only need to buy a few flowers (those on offer of course!) to make a lovely hand tied arrangement.I did a short flower arrangeing course, check out local education for evening or saturday course or try the library for books on subject

Anybody who has a brand new Fiat car (500, Grande Punto, Bravo [mine :D]) with Blue&Me technology...

Install the Eco: Drive software, and it analyses your driving style down to every detail, and gives you advice on how to improve your driving style thus saving money. :-). I'm already on my way to saving about £70 a year because of this.

Yeah, I saw prices like that too - the fact you know the money is going to them makes it so much better! Plus, the idea of buying actual fresh produce excites me... lol. I find it fun, doing this money saving lark!

Also, I was reading on about page 75 about people picking money off of the floor. I do that and made about 50p on a night out! My flatmate (not the one who spends F loads on clothes, another one) thinks I'm rather sad, lol. BUT, I find a lot of money. I was walking through the park and found a fiver - split it with my mate. Found £1 and 50p on seperate occassions by my halls and when I'm at work, any money I find on the floor goes in the tips jar - none of it ever goes to us but it helps the bar out if the till's short!

if its just the foaming bottle you are after, I bought a cheapish (think £1+) facial foaming wash from either Aldi or Lidl and have been using that to dispense handwash in my kitchen since the face wash was used up. the facial wash was pretty good too :D

I was hoping to buy a fancy one to look nice in my bathroom. Just picked up "method" foaming hand wash which has a nice bottle i can refill but its got writing on the bottle and me being fussy will still be looking for a nicer 1!
