This is not so much a money saving tip as a revolution for wanting to do your cleaning.
Invest in a pair of gel knee pads, the kind that workmen use and they velcro behind your legs. Believe me, you will look forward to getting down and doing all those horrible jobs you put off - like cleaning behind the loo and wiping down skirting boards.
I love mine. They cost about £7 all in off ebay, but you can get them in lots of places. Lidl or Aldi were selling them recently. One of my best investments. You can use them for gardening too.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Just had to mention this and make all you money-saving lovers sweat!
My flatmate came into my room today and told me he'd spend £72... on a polo neck! I nearly started hyperventilating. He spent another £36 on two tops, although they had been reduced from like, £50 so I could okay that.
But that's not all folks, oh no!
He said I should quit my student bar job because I only do a couple of shifts every other week, thus 'only' making myself around £140 a month!!!
AND!!!
He said he wasn't worried about paying off his student debt because he'd just marry someone who earned loads and not go above the £14,000 (?) cap on paying back student loans!

I can't remember if I've said before, but I now mix own label value t-bags with a branded version. We're very old-style in this house, as we use a tea pot so it's easier to do
I get the branded ones at a good price from a discount store so double savings too :T

I never use tea bags as the taste is awful when compared with the "real" thing.I have Ringtons tea delivered once a month by a lovely man.a pack costs £1.75 and lasts me 2/3 weeks and dregs can go straight on to garden with no bags to mess with :j0 -
