  • Hi just thought I would say Pitrock is currently £4 in Asda at the moment and the spray and the stick is both less than £4 in Sainsburys

If you use whole lettuce, don't use a knife to cut it. Just rip it apart with your hands. The metal blade on the knife will make it go browner sooner, so it will last longer if you avoid the blade.

Also, every night I empty my OH's pockets of change (he must know, but he doesn't complain) and I put it in the kids money boxes! Then they get ice-creams etc from their 'own' savings.;)

[*]Use a dash of washing up liquid and a splash of white vinegar in the water as screen wash
    [/LIST]

Can I just add a bit of a 'warning' to this tip, the use of washing up liquid will eventually damage the paint on the car (you've seen the cars that have dull and faded paintwork)

I know this tip is only to use in washer bottle but if its anything like mine the water spray goes everywhere else on the car too, which is why its not recommended to use when washing the car either!

I bet everyone does this already. It saves a fortune if you buy your greetings cards in bulk. In home bargains for example they have really good quality ones on offer sometimes, 4 for £1. I get loads and store them under my bed. I can't understand why people go to card shops and pay £3 a card!
said this already but the national trust do great "books" that contain a calender for each month with pockets for cards in all for a £5 in lots of styles
