Yes, I've done this too. The pint pots are in a separate cupboard near to the beer fridge.
If you can find out how to stop the bu@@ers leaving the glasses in their bedrooms I'd be grateful too!
:rotfl: When I find it, if they're in they get called up to remove it and take it down to the kitchen empty it, rinse it and put it in the dishwasher. If they're out, it usually gets presented to them if they shout through for a drink when they come home and can't be bothered getting it themselves. Their faces are usually a picture but then again I haven't had a glass left in either of their rooms now for quite a while.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Those of you that decant shower gel, shampoo, soap etc into pump dispensers, what do you put it into? Just re-used bottles or something nicer? I'd quite like to find something nicer, any suggestions gratefully received!Piglet

IIRC, places like InStore/Poundstretcher do glass pump containers. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Thanks Stephen, sadly we don't have either of those...we've got a Wilkinson's - perhaps I need to go and have a look there...Piglet

Pitlanepiglet do you have a Dunelm Mill shop near you ? They are fab for most houseware stuff and very reasonable too.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0 -

I saw one in Tesco that would look more fitting in an average bathroom (a simple, clear bottle), but it cost £2.50 more that the J&J ones so I stuck with them. It was a brand called 'Simple' or 'Natural', or something that like.
An investigative trip to Tesco revealed the 'nice' clear (plastic) bottle to be called Method, and it's about £3.25.
The (watered down) coloured soaps would look pretty in it.I have no signature.0 -

Lakeland do a (non-foaming) stainless steel and glass pump dispenser for £8. Google "lakeland pump dispenser" for it.I have no signature.0 -
Thanks Steve, the Lakeland one looks nice, bit price though. Having had a google, Ikea have a couple of soap dispensers, as do Dunelm Mill...Piglet

Sorry if this has been mentioned before (haven't got time at the mo to read back through!) but I use half the recommended amount of washing powder as I was told by an engineer on one my many call-outs(!!!) that it's better for the machine (doesn't gunk it up as badly). Washing comes out just as clean!
Apologies if someone else has already posted this!0
