have a dress fitting this morning so not looking forward to it
I have got some bits off ebay already but i can't get the foundation any cheaper and it turns out today that my friend knows the girl and she was one of her bridesmaids
So am hoping to name drop and get a few extra freebies - lol
How did your dress fitting go?Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Finally made a proper start on my invites (Won't take long) but I have a sore arm from all the punching. I should alternate hands, it might help my bingo wings! haha.0

Crikey I'm nearly done! Went to pay most of the sit down meal balance yesterday. It's £500 for 25 of us. I paid £400 yesterday, so just another £100, then £150 for the buffet.
Went and paid the balance off for the flowers they were £132 in total. Just got some evening invites to send out. The lady in the flower shop said she was getting married in October and was worrying because she hadn't sent her evening invites out yet! So that's my job for this weekend.
When are you supposed to fetch the dress? I've had 2 try ons at the shop and it's fitted both times so no alterations. They're going to dry clean it before I fetch it, so when should I ask them to do it?
EVERYTHING ELSE IS PAID FOR!!! WOOHOO!!
Oh, except biridesmaids shoes!

I know how you feel. I had to do two punches for each of sixty invitations... and I even managed to punch a heart shape out of my finger (so be careful!):rotfl:0 -

ok so the dress still fits and id forgotten how loveley it made me feel, all in all its costing me £120 to have my dress taken up at the bottom and in at the bust and middle only slightly just to give it a nicer figure look, she is also putting in small boob pads (cause i have none) and taking up one of my bridesmaids dresses so i thoguht that was really good. (but my bridesmaid has lost loads of weight an dlooks even better now, so gonna have to feed her fat pills or something lol)
just need to get everything sorted in the way of time scales now, like when the caterer needs to be let in and when photographer is coming and cars etc etcnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0 -

Ouch! I stupidly became obsessed with the corner rounder idea, so i rounded the corners of 55 invitations, and their inserts! eeek.
Also a couple of weeks ago, my Mum and I made our own colour coordinated confetti for the tables, using 2 punches. You've never seen 2 people surrounded by so much tissue paper. I actually had to be hoovered! LOL0 -

I've done something similar but big butterflies out of hand made tissue paper (slightly thicker, cottony feel to it) for my flower girls to sprinkle down the aisle in front of me instead of petals... think I have RSI in my thumbs though!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I know, it's crazy! I made such a rod for my own back picking "plum" as a main colour cos it's so difficult to find (or rather, everyone's idea of plum is different). I should have gone with red.
Got very exciting news today that my brother has managed to get me a proffessional film maker to do my video for £100, and a photogrpaher for roughly the same price! I was so overjoyed!
It will soon be 1 year since OH and I got engaged, I think he's going to re-propose to me on the anniversary (my birthday) because neither of us actually remember ANYTHING he said. And also a week after we got engaged we nearly split up over some really awful stuff. So I didn't really get to enjoy it very much. i think it's a nice reaffirmation.0
