    Hi all,
hope everyone is well today x

Shaz - try contacts. I love mine, although found them dead fiddly when I was a learner. I would never ever get laser surgery. I only know of 2 people who had it - my friend who then spent a lot of money trying to get his eyes fixed afterwards as he found he had an 'aura' around everything especially at night and still has problems to this day, and Dad who still has to wear glasses as his eyesight is blurry. :(

Top_drawer - I really hope that you manage to complete your essay!! I'll be thinking of you x

Diamond78 - I know exactly how you feel :( I hope that is a bit of a consolation for you. You are definately not alone. x

Slowlyfading - I hope that your bad mark doesn't affect things as much as you think. x

I'm not bothered about footy. My Fiance watched it while I just sat around and then I had another early night :)

shaz....have you tried contact lenses.think you would be suitable for them and although its not the same, you wouldnt have to wear glasses.i have thought about eye surgery but have heard of lots of ppl who are not suitable despite what they say on tv.
i am shortsighted so am having to take off my glasses for close up stuff cos thats the benefit of being over 40 and shortsighted.dh has had to buy reading specs:D but i now have perfect sight close up.due to everyone getting split vision after 40. the op man told me....so swings and roundabouts.
used to realy pee me off when i was younger, but as i have aged, i have started to thank the man upstairs that although my eyes arent perfect ,at least im not blind.think the same about lots of stuff lately.been a bad 2 weeks for me but i suppose i could have been on hol to china instead of majorca, so although i had a near death experience, some of the chinese have lost everything, even their kids, so i think ccs and meyores poems hit a chord with me.
think i need a little carp thrown at me every so often to remind me of all the good stuff that comes with it,iykwim....thats my take on life anyway, maybe i was a buddhist in a past life, or john lennon:D
    take care,
    love ilgd xx

have tried contact lenses twice in the past and they haven't been suitable for me, as well as being really long sighted, i have astigmatism, which makes contact lenses really uncomfortable.
i know what you mean, i have so much to be grateful for, the fact i can see well weith glasses is a gift, as i have a friend who is blind, that must be so hard, guess we take some things for granted, til we realise that there are always people worse off than ourselves.
going for a relaxing aromatherapy massage morning, my mum is kindly having ds for two hours, then he is all mine for rest of day:rolleyes:
to be honest he really regrets what happened in school yesterday, and doing all he can to make it up, even tidying his room :j lol
    big hugs to all

    Hi All :)

Just thought I'd stop in and say hello. I'm off to see family for a few days. Stupidly I didn't even consider family when I SH'ed recently, so its going to be a few days of long sleeves and being careful - we are quite an open family, so usually have no problem walking round in a towel, or getting changed in the open. Don't want anyone to know.

Still bit down about diagnosis, but coming to terms with it. Just hurts to be labelled as 'disordered'. Had me in tears at the appointment, explaining about how I'm clingy and push people away by being too needy. I didn't know I did that. I did used to have a few intense and unhealthy relationships, but not anymore. Been with the same guy for 7 years, that is hardly intense! Yes, I'm having an affair, but its a committed, loving and healthy affair. Its making me question everything about me :-/

Day Four of withdrawls, and I'm having quite bad dizziness, and horrendous panic attacks. I always think I can 'think' myself out of a panic attack, but then they end up changing and feel completely real again. Grr!

Sazbo hun, in a way Chelsea did deserve to win. They played great. I cried when John Terry cried. Hopefully they will win next time. In my eyes they are winners too.

awww that's so sweet of you hun :kisses3: i know that being passionate about football means having to take the rough with the smooth, but it's not easy:o I just wish either side had killed it within the 90 minutes, but then again, for all the neutrals watching it, it was a great game.

I am shattered as was up far too late posting on the football thread! But nothing an early night won't cure, I'm sure.

Hope your day's going ok Diamond hun. And Gario - hope you get a better result tonight than we did!

    Kisses to you all.

    Much love,
