At least the chickens were marked up - I almost bought one but at £20 I didn't......

We had a piece of pork last weekend that was £10, and I felt really extravagant spending that. Saying that, it was delicious and it did 4 of us for 2 days, so not too bad I guess :p

    £20 for a chicken, he's having a laugh. I'd expect someone to come and cook it for me at that price!!!:rotfl:

Having a lazy day today - trying to make it a NSD but need to go to Tesco to take back some clothes (bought them with a £10 off voucher, so that when I return them they will give me the full refund:D ).

Don't really need any food as my 3 freezers are at bursting point, but will look to see if they having anything in the reduced section. Otherwise I will try and hold off from buying anything else I don't need at the moment.

Horrible, rainy day here today, but coming on this site makes my day alot more enjoyable ;)

    Have a good day everyone!

  • True, gosh they really hi-jack the customer with those prices. I think there is a link on the board somewhere for butchers prices and also organic ones. I remember the chicken debate with the wonderful Rog 2, he may be able to shed some light on it, and he is also raising chickens himself (may check on this as to whether he has done so in the past or is going to again)
