Well this is the situation with me, email received from Pipex this afternoon ...
"We can confirm that your online request to cancel your Pipex Broadband service has now been initiated. A 'cease order' will be issued to BT for the removal of our broadband service from your telephone line.
Your Pipex Broadband service will be available to you until the 02/05/2008 ......".
I haven't cancelled, I'm trying to pay them my annual subscription, cheque sent to Broadwick Street this week :mad:0 -

I've been contacted by Tiscali and asked to remove the email addresses. As it's not really fair to have personal email addresses on the site, I've removed them so if you're having problems please could you email customerrelations@pipex,net
However if you're still having problems, please PM me and I'll see if I can do anything.
Thanks

It isn't fair for Pipex to treat their loyal customers in this way, so they really have a nerve contacting you and requesting this in my opinion. Shout the email addresses from the hilltops I say and let everyone know how they operate their business in such an unprofessional manner.
I sent a detailed email to their customer services department after receiving no reponse to my complaints or emails, depsite having a case reference. I run a Media Publicity Business and have advised Pipex that if I do not receive a satisfactory response swiftly, I will be using my personal experience and those of other dissatisfied customers (there are plenty!) in a case study in the UK National Press to warn other potential Customers of what they might expect if they sign up with Pipex - lack of communication, poor service, overbilling etc
Regards
P.S For the record, the customerrelations email you quoted above bounces back!0 -

Apologies for not posting a reply sooner. I emailed Mary Turner at Pipex (google it) and received a swift reponse/apology from her office. Pipex also agreed to to slash my monthly charge in half to £7.99 unlimited broadband a month and agreed to add credits back to my account. It's a shame that it took all this to provoke action.
Kind regards0
