  • If people are only placing a small order to get the CD Player, how much is the CD Player actually worth ? - Is it worth the order.

10 reams of paper at 9p each is a bargain but paying £5 for something you don't need just to get a cheap CD player

I think I for one would be very suprised if you can get a CD player for less than £5.00. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Anyway, don't be so condescending!

They are mainly adults on here lucidamike, and are probably equipped with enough savvy to figure out it's worth to them, dont You?:confused:

    Thanks

  • Tell them that you signed up when you were at work and are now at home, say you don't have a computer at home. I did and they let me order over the phone.

got the "orders have to be over £30" line when trying to order paper. Told them it didn't say that on the flyer, but they wouldn't budge quoting the mistake in printing spiel. I would have placed my chair order as my second order if i had none...... bah!! oh well nvm i may try again another time and see if i get a diff operator.
do you think they would have made a note on my account that they had told me about over £30 criteria?

I wasn't intending to be condescending just that it is sometimes easy to get carried away (just like bidding on ebay) and pay more that the "free" gift is really worth.

I accept that you would have to spend about £10 to get a cheap CD Player.

I am also a little worried about a few people who claim they are resorting to "little white lies" in order to qualify for the free gift - it's fine where a special offer is discovered and published on the forum but we shouldn't have to resort to any deception to claim it.

Even if they do they can't possibly know your working hours/shifts etc can they? They are very unlikely to put you under investigation! Go for it!

Paper reference early on in the thread, but it is meant for returning home customers on their 2nd order so don't get too cross with them if they refuse you! Don't forget your biscuits too!
