Viking Direct Offers. including 10 reams of paper for 90p, sellotape for £3 [CLOSED]

hi just ordered-
chair, cd player and batererys (to take order over £3 and get free p+p) for just over £31

was told to ring back tomorrow with paper and shortbread order.

have i done this the right way? seemed like a bargain to me

Placed order yesterday for the tape and Cd player - had to pay for delivery , but when it arrived this morning there was no delivery charge - cd player is great - kids love it ( so do I) They also tried to deliver another parcel to me - not quite sure what will be in that one as I only placed one order - they would n't let me order paper without spending £30 - roll on re-delivery!!!!!!

u could try placing a small order ist and then order the paper and stereo later using the leaflet order form they send with ur ist order( might get away with it if u post the form with stereo listed rather than phone in and be told u need to order over £30).

they key is to get ur ist order delivered free (so you dont pay 2 delivery costs) either by opening a business acc and sweet talking them into giving u free delivery since its your ist order or by ordering over £30.

remember if u do order over £30 just to get the stereo that u can return somone of the items for free with no charge( they even come and collect it). I Would only use this as a last restort since not nice to abuse ther generosity considering hardly any companys do this.

Just phoned up and ordered the Malaga chair, paper, free hifi and free biscuits.

When i asked about the paper i was told it was 4 existing customers only but after i placed my order and gave my card details the v nice man offered me the paper as i spent £30. Not bad eh? He had bit of a laugh when i pushed my luck about the free biscuits but hey, u dont ask u dont get.

I ordered an ink cartridge (£12.49) and got the CD player. The person at Viking Direct said it was an offer open to new customers only, nothing about a print error...?

The paper was never available on-line,you can only get it by calling them and hope you get a good operator as some people are still lucky and some aren't.

I would like to thank everyone that has voted for rizla01 and me for the post of the month, over 52000 hits now. I wonder if Viking Direct will give us commision on all the orders they have received from this post :rolleyes: .
Got to go, off to Spain in the morning :j .

I tried to place an order for a box of pencils and a CD player, but was told the CD player was out of stock for ALL orders .... over and under £30. Anyone encountered the same?
