Have just had a 'shop up' and got some great bargains but I shall update when I've finished later, got a trip to Asda to do yet to restock the WML flour.
Anyone know any good deals on fresh milk at the mo? Was jumping on the Cravendales 2 for £2 last month but is that all done and dusted now?

Well, Hello everybody.
I am also a brand new member - this is my very first post!!
I have been trying to stick to a budget for the last nine months. but am sliding slowly back to old habits due to laziness. I am hoping that by regularly clocking in here it will help to keep me on the straight and narrow. I have been trying to 'live' off my so's wage and use mine to do up the house so we can sell and go rural. It seems a bit of a dream at the moment - because it appears unachievable I get disheartened, so plenty of kicks up the rear for me would be a GOOD thing. Anyway, last month I overspent by £73.20!!!! eeeek. See - I'll never get there like that!!! However, I shall trip out a few ofthe excuses already used like the student home from uni, being veggies and fresh organic is just aaaaarghhhh and I also have the excuse of having to fund a very beery and curr er ery weekend on that wonderful rugby weekend when Wales won the GS........again! Anyway, much fun was had and now I must stop it and tighten the belt.......at least until next year when we do it again.
So in April I must spend no more than £350. That will feed me, so, teenage son (they eat so much don't they?) and dog. I almost felt shamed into shaving more off as I cannot believe the number of you who somehow manage on a 100 or other small amounts..........I salute you....seriously, I am in awe and eager to learn how you do it.
I am in very real danger of boring everybody to death with my very first post so I just want to add a big HI to all and good luck!
just one more thing - I'm not really fed up it's just that I had to try sooooo many names before it would let me in!!! All the cutesy itsy bitsy doll like names were gone.0 -
I,m in for £50.00 this month. Done my first shop today at Tesco. Spent (sub total) £53.99. Take off 82p in BOGOF £11.90 in couponsand £21.00 in clothes , that leaves a spend of £20.20. Got quite a few meals in there and also a couple of treats. Also scanned the new Tesco Direct catalogue at the checkout and recieved a voucher giving me £5.00 off my next £20.00 spend at Tesco Direct, and used a till spit giving me 450 points when £20.00 spend on womens clothing, the skirts going back though, didnt fit.:T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o

Ooooooh, Mrs Mc, I made your breadsticks today as we are having friends over for a drink tonight and I thought it would be nice to have some nibbles......trouble is I've had to send OH out for peanuts and crisps now because the breadsticks were SOOOoooooo nice, the "nobody fairy" came and ate them all along with the garlic dip I made
. Oh well, never mind
.
I'm in again for April please. Going to try for £225 again, I think that's about my limit so I'm not sure I'll be trying to reduce it at any stage, but I do need to keep coming on here even if it's only to keep me on the straight and narrow (and anyway, I'd miss you lot if I didn't take part)
So Mrs M, would you put me down for £225 please, thanks.
Good luck everyone.

Welcome fedupnow
I know what you mean, all the names I wanted were gone...although, I have to say, I do like my username now
I have had a bit of a dilema for this month... couldn't decide whether to stay the same, or reduce my budget.
In the end, I decided to stay the same, as I have quite a social month ahead;)
So MrsMc £120 for me please for the next 4 weeks
Good Luck everyone0
