Mooloo Not sure if I'll be able to explain it very well but I'll try.
First you need to upload your photos on to a website like www.flickr.com or www.photobucket.com
I use Flickr so I'll explain using that. On flickr once you've uploaded your pics, you then need to select the photo that you want to post and then click on the picture of a magnifying glass that says 'all sizes' Choose the size of the photo you want to post (I use small or medium) and then copy the URL from where it says 'Grab the photo's URL' (highlight it by dragging your mouse over the text, right click and select copy)
Edit: or once you've uploaded the pic you can just right click on it, select 'properties' and then highlight and copy the address (URL) but you might end up with a huge photo if you do it this way though.
Then come on here and when you post a message you will see what looks like a picture of mountains (I think that's what it's supposed to be) If you hover over it with your mouse it says 'insert image' click on the button and paste (right click and select paste) in the URL of the photo that you copied. Press preview post to check that it's worked.
I hope that all makes sense and hasn't put you off.
Nikki

Just wanted to let you all know that I used some Dried Soya Mince to bulk out Cottage Pie tonight. Bought a 200g pack from Sainsburys for 52p, used half the pack and used 250g of steak mince and guess what, no-one noticed.:D Had so much had to use a giant dish which fed all 4 of us and a portion left for OH for tomorrow night, not bad considering this cost less than £2 in total including carrots and Cabbage to go with it.:T Planning to use Oats to bulk out Spag Bol and Chilli next time.
Popped into Netto today, Utterly Butterly 99p BOGOF so picked those up. Going back there on Saturday as they will have Condensed Milk for 99p.
Will update my spends tomorrow as I'm banished upstairs at the moment as OH is watching football downstairs, all quiet so I don't think we've scored yet:eek:"WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!"GC for OH, myself, DD18 & DD16 includes Toiletries, cleaning stuff & Food.

Spent £100 in Sainsburys today, but that was with my staff discount, and I did get a lot! Seem to have a lot of meat in the freezer, stocked it up a while ago and forgot about it, hooray! Made three big seafood pies yesterday with trout reduced to 10p, tasted even better!
I know I need to cut back on buying biscuits and crisps, what does everyone else have for healthy and cheap snacks?Ch:beer: eerio!Sept. grocery challenge = £500 (221.60 so far!;))0 -
Just popped on line to update on my spends. Spent £4.49 in Wilkinsons on toiletries, seeds, muffin cases, freezer bags and cling film. Have updated my signature to reflect this.
Hope the challenge is going well for everyone, I'll be back tomorrow to read through all the posts and get even more inspirationEnjoying an MSE OS life0 -
Here is the chutney recipe - if you can get hold of cheap mangoes (Mr Ts ATM) it is a reasonable price. You need to start it the day before you want to make it, IYSWIM....
Mango & Ginger Chutney
PS this is not a 'hot' chutney, just taste very fresh
Sounds great,thanks.
I made mango chutney last year-12 mangoes for £1!!-far too much chilli, nearly blew my head off, however has now all gone.DD2 loves spicy food ,so that's where it all went!
Your recipe looks good. Will look out for more mangoes, but need to get shot of all the plums in the freezer first.
At present am running out of jamjars,so will have to put the spies out;)

Was going to have a nsd but I've just ordered the soap nuts. Did the 75p paypal thing so that I'm limiting the miles on them.
We had indian from frozen woopsies for tea but had pasta as have no rice.
Wasn't very nice really- most of us left most of it. Very wet and I'm sure I could probably make nicer/cheaper. Lesson learned.
Still well chuffed with my hair dye- only £1! Did consider getting a couple but only wanted it as I had highlights and lowlights last year which have grown down to my ears now and I look like a badger! The purple will hopefully cover that but as it grows out won't be so obvious so can get back to normal colour.
Really really need a haircut but may ask for it from family for my birthday as a treat. So skint ATM- need to find an extra £345 per month for the next 3 pay checks. Don't think it's entirely doable espescially as I didn't put down to work the night that needs covering tomorrow (too tired really and lots to do to finish house off).
I'm 30 in a few weeks and feel it's time really that I lived in a decent (Is tidy too much to ask!) house.
DH went and got himself a memory foam pillow this evening- £20 I'm not taking it off the gc yet but if we come in under then it will be good. His neck is so bad it continuously crunches. When I get home in the morning he is grey and always tired and I really don't think he sleeps very well. When funds allow and we do our bedroom we are upgrading to a kingsized extra long bed. Hopefully we will then both be able to get a good nights sleep but I know it won't be cheap. Oh well what price can you put on your health?
Hugs to all.

Been to Asda tonight and spent £20.32. This does include £2.97 for some compost so not too bad although I was trying for under £20. Also got a few whoopsies; 4x little fruit bags at 5p from 44p, pack of mixed veg at 10p from 49p, 1 pt organic milk at 5p from 50p, 2 pt milk from 67p to 10p. Sig has been updated.
