Complain to Tesco's!! I had an order delivered ages ago, about 60% of the fresh stuff had that days date on or the day after. I complained and said how am I expected to use nearly a whole week's shopping in 2 days?! They refunded all the items with the rubbish date and I stocked up my freezer brilliantly!!

  • Hi everyone!!
MrsMc-Thanks for the advice about the mince.

Had HM veggie Glamorgan sausages, roast potatoes (great with Mum and Dad's rosemary-growing our own this year) and parsnips for dinner. Delicious!

Well, we've just come back from Mr T-5 min walk away
Not too many bargains and I was trying to stick to list. Did buy some milk 2 x 2 pints for 19p each.
Also picked up a few offers, 2 x 1kg of mince for £5 (looking forward to bulking it out) and remaining 3 packs of Cumberland sausages 48p each (Offer for both of these runs out on 6th)
And 2 copies of the Daily Mail -Thanks Teedy23-look forward to using the £1 money off pizza coupons.
Keep up the great work everyone!!!

    Good evening all.
Hope everyone is ok. Just read all the posts to date. this thread moves quick.

As a few other people have mentioned I have also noticed that MR T's has not been reducing things by much.

Went shopping today for cat litter and spent about £14, thought we may as well stock up on a few other things while we were there, they will see the cats through to the end of the month.
There is a Aldi next door so we thought we would pop in to see what offers on F+V they had. Spent a total of £17.... apples, oranges, green beans, salad potatoes and lettuce are all on offer for 49p.

Does anyone know where you can gets these cheaply? I bought two packs from Lakeland for £5.99 each and think they are really good but it would cost a lot to buy them like this as I would have to pay postage (no Lakeland shop near me). I suppose I could just buy a year's supply in one hit and get free postage! Any suggestions welcome.

    Thanks
