Morning peeps:D can I have MrsMc coleslaw recipe that Bargain RZL made please?

Can I ask does it make sense to go to costco and stock up on toilet rolls/large cans/washing powder in bulk to save money that way even though the initial outlay is bigger than I would spend normally?

Off to Sainsburys to keep my first ever receipt and work on the GC that way, the fruit I get from the man on the market, going to make Korma from scratch today but the WW version as gained 0.7lb this week being greedy:rotfl: :rotfl:

bmf went to Ikea last weekend and they had loads of baskets for hamper ideas and things that were very cheap and perfect for present giving, got the catalogue can PM you with prices if you are interested or just look on goggle, they have some fantastic storage ideas, I bought the clips for when the packets are open, 2 49p large cups to store toothbrushes in etc, a mesh hanging thingy to put the kids teddies in for £2.49 bargain, it really clears his room up of all the teddies.

  • Do you count 'meals out' in your budget? Not that it happens that often in this family at the moment!

  • Just wanted to share with you that our grocery budget now caters for an additional member of the frankerooney clan, born on Saturday afternoon (DH's 30th birthday!) in the hospital birthing pool.

Not quite sure where our grocery spending is up to but I think receipts are around so I'll get up to date in the next few days. Church friends are bringing evening meals round for us for week so that's helping though I'm getting though the grocery budget anyway with a huge increase in junk food consumption! (all in the name of high-calorie breastfeeding of course!)

victory - it wasn't me that made the coleslaw (I don't like coleslaw :D) but I'm sure whoever did it will post their recipe soon... :)
