Hi Darren
Thank you for your advise my friend!! It is appreciated!!
I called my bank last week and explained what happened, and they said that I would have to get in contact with billingsvc.com and get my account off their system, but I explained that they have no posting address or any other contact details and also said to keep a proof of the letter that I sent to them and bring it into the local branch and let them handle the case.
As that was a bit long and after reading your reply, I called my bank today and they said that I would have to write to them saying to suspend any payments going to billingsvc.com, due to them being a fraudulent company.
As that was another long process, I thought forget that, I called the lost and theft department of my bank and said that when I was out on the weekend I lost my card by accident. So they will send me a new pin and new card and have suspended my card and any money going from it!!
Are you definately sure that when I receive the new card, BILLINGSVC can't get hold of my bank account details? As the debit card is linked to my current account.
Thanks again for your help!

Sunday evening virus alerts all over the pc, unable to access anything. Then the IE Antivirus website came up and was quoting $39.99, been unable to access anything and panicked a bit I signed up. Once I had done it everything seemed ok.
Too my horror £98.45 was taken out of my account.
I spoke with the bank who could not stop it and I now have too wait for it too go through and then try to get money back .....
Its now cost me to get soeone in to check my pc as tried all the websites you all mentioned.
Thanks for posting all the information.

Do not contact BILLINGSVC.COM this contact information is a fraud. It was sold as adware removal and it was not. Infact it infected me more then it removed. It also loaded a trogan that snagged passwords from some accounts. I have tried to contact the company and I have gotten nothing back in return. I have contacted my credit card company (Capital One) they are working on this also. So if anyone has Cap 1 Cards and this is an issue contact them and they will take care if it. The thing is DO NOT REMOVE ANYTHING from your unit take it to someone that can work on it is a VERY easy fix.
I will let you know what happens in later posts.:j0 -
 I got stuck with this place also. Was looking for a game so I saw it on Fullreleases.biz. For a one time charge of $4.95 I figured why not. I was never able to download the game.
Well I got my credit card bill today the $4.95 was there along with a charge of $30.92 CONVERTED FROM EURO'S Called my credit card co. to check it out and they told me that there was another charge from them for $30.92. He said that they would take care of it and issue me a new card.
I tried calling the 800 # 800-657-9205 and was told that there would be a wait of about a minute and if I wanted to talk to someone press #
Well I pressed # and the message said all voice mailboxes were filled.
Then the #%&holes said thank you for purchasing our software GOODBY

I got 20 transactions from fatjack hosting taken of my debit card last weekend.Left me in overdraft and bank still paid out. As I am on holiday I will have to wait till next week to sort it all out with them. Have cancelled my card so no more can go through but the bank tells me there is more outstanding and they have to honour them.I e mailed fat jack and they are going to refund me so that is not to bad but will have to give them my new card details when i return to get the credit. meanwhile my bank is charging me intrest on the overdraft. Someones not going to have a good day when I visit next week0

I had a message left on my answering machine asking why I cancelled my account and that they would phone back later. You cant phone them but they want a service that is fraudulent in the first place. I have since been refunded by my bank and they have blocked all payments from this company . Like many others I hope this is the end of the matter.

Hi Honeyraith,
Sorry to hear that you have been stung too...you must cancel the card, once you have given them authorisation they can take, take, take!!
You will need a new card I'm afraid...
Take care...

Hey guys,
I signed up for the fullrelease website as well. I was charged the $4+ amount. And, the files I needed were not on the site as promised.
So, I contacted Citi for a full refund, no problemo.
One piece of advice - Since I had a sense that I could be dealing with possible scammers, I used citi's temporary card number. Basically, I went online to citi and was assigned another cc number which was linked to my card.
As soon as the transaction went through for the $4 at billingsvc.com, I closed the temporary card number. voila! It made it impossible for there to be any additional charges to my card. And, it made my temporary card number worthless to them.
I highly recommend this technique for dealing with any unknown online sellers.
Hope it helps!

I am ashamed to admit that I too was taken by DirectFileAccess for the "one time fee" of $4.95 and never got the file I needed from them, and have now so far had 2 additional charges of $29 and some change. It's a different amount each time, I assume this is because they are converting from Euros. My bank security department called me each time the charges appeared, and I let the first one go, because I recognized the $4.95 charge, even though I did not remember the $29 charge. Now with the second charge of $29 my bank called me again. Now, I have not lost that much money so far, but I would like to know how we can take these people down? I want directfileaccess.com, fullreleases.biz and billingsvc.com all shut down. I found out that billingsvc.com is hosted in the Netherlands, and the domain name is registered to an Alex Ferguson, email address moon.serg@gmail.com. I emailed him, but expect to get no response. The phone numbers for billingsvc.com that appear on my CC statement all ring busy, so I'm curious as to how anyone got through and how anyone got their money back. Also, how can I find out if I have any trojan horses?0
