Afternoon everyone
Back from work :j About to stick (yet another) loaf on and peel the spuds for tonight's dinner.
It's strange isn't it, that although I don't really know Smoky, all I can think about today is her and her family. It brings tears to my eyes.
Well, I can't think of anything else to write.
(((((hugs))))) everyoneSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
SMOKY - none of us has felt like chatting about the mundane today. I think we are all with you in spirit but wish so much that we could be with you to hold your hand and hug you and your children, not just today but in the difficult times ahead. I'm not sure what time your darling Eric's funeral was but hope your strength and courage brought you through it. We're here for you when you're ready.

Good Afternoon All
(((hugs))) to Mary, hope your mum is ok. My nanna went through the same, having quite a few mini strokes!
Back from work. Wish the girls would stop moaning, about how many calls there are, JUST GET THEM DONE I want to scream!!! They want me to play a part of an April's Fool day prank, to the stand-in manager. I said NO! After recent events, I dont want any more reasons for their to be another atmosphere! Does that make sense???
OH is at a job interview now as I type. Fingers crossed for him.
Ive brought the local paper to read through the situations vacant! Will do that shortly.
(((hugs))) again to Smokey, hope today went as well as it could!
Right, off to do dinner, & sort the washing!!!
Bye for now

Not much to report. I've spent the last 4 days with my mum and dad, trying to sort out my bedroom there. Loads of junk has been thrown away and some more stuff has been boxed ready for a car boot sale during the summer. I've brought some stuff back here too so that I can endeavour to sell it on Ebay.
Supper tonight is a sausages and beans thing from the Gordon Ramsey Fast Food book. Nice and simple. :rolleyes:Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 #18 £2021.83 declared0 -
