Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 27th March. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Morning.
Another work day, one of only 3 this week. Having to use up holidays before the 31st March or lose them. I have a fair bit to do, so I don't really need them like that.
Looks like rain for my day off tomorrow and I desperately need to get some work done outside.
Easter hols are ticking along nicely, Kids seem to have things to do. 2 are working anyway and one is with a freind in a caravan near the beach.
I have to prepare 2 meals this week for friends coming over, but i am not sure what to do, I think I have used up everything in my recipee book. I could use some ideas on my other post...here
Well folks have a good day to all who follow.

Thank goodness for that. Have been waiting for someone to start the daily thread. Didnt want to start it again as i feel a bit hypocritical doing it as i hadnt posted for ages and ages. Been up since 4.30am with this bl**dy back of mine. Feeling sorry for myself until i remember smokey and her family have an horrendous day to get through today. Maybe we should dedicate this daily thread to her and her family
. Smoky, I dont know you but am thinking of you today.Hugs to you and your family. Will be back later and might even add another post.:o “Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. Your really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” Lucille Ball.0 -

SMOKEY thinking of you and your children today. There is nothing else to say at this terrible time.
HUGS to anyone else who wants one, haven't managed to read the thread, was so knackered after DS school trip that I went to bed at 8.30. Don't know how you teachers do it!
Forgot to put SC on yesterday before I went to work so shall be having stew today before I go to work. Off to have breakfast.

Morning everyone,
(((hugs)) Smokybabe, lo's and all Eric's family, I hope today goes as well as it can.still got this heat rash kind of thing on my face
no idea why
wonder if I can get anything from boots for it
Ageandjo - please get it examined by a doctor or something, I had a type of rash thing on mine, and it turned out to be shingles, luckily someone recognised mine and sent me off to the docs. Hopefully yours isn't but you need to have it checked out.
BM on with a Spicy Fruit Loaf, one of kitchen drawers sorted, and first coffee drunk. Ironing up to date atm, a little washing in the bin but no real loads yet, DH sleeping (quietly for a change). I need to get on scanning and sorting paper as 8th will be here before I can turn round I am sure.
(((hugs))) to all who'd like one, as I used to say to our DS, you may not be able to have everything you want, but "loves"(cuddles) come free. Hi to everyone else.
Take care - DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0
