Best form of defence is attack...

Meanwhile ... the Chiltern Hundreds in Maidstone - do you have to purchase a mobile phone (refurb of course, they know no better) from T3 Direct whilst you are there by any chance???

Sorry = trying to bump up the scam twits.... I'll do anything :o

  • “We” eh, Eyelinerprincess? Is that “we” as in Royal or “we” as in the Borg collective? I had no idea that a disparite collection of individuals on a board was actually a clique…rather like most of the chat boards eh where a few of the more assertive and mouthy feel they own it and everyone else is there at their grace and favour?

I’ll let you into a bigger secret “madam”. I’ll post a first message, a last message after many hundreds of others or at any point in between as I see fit and not as decided by you or any other “collective”, real or imagined. I will post such message anytime I feel moved to either defend someone who is being unfairly attacked, or a message to attack someone who is indeed guilty of bad practice, or very definitely to reprimand any mob activity that attracts my ire. The only arbitrators to that posting being the law of the land and the board owner who obviously has the final say on postings (as indeed he/she should have).

As for your comment about defending a company with my first post, life’s a !!!!! as they say or that’s the way the cookie crumbles. I wasn’t looking for MSE and its forums. The nature of the messaging on here brought it to my attention via Google when all I wanted was the JPR online catalogue to check some data.

Perhaps I should have gone off to a few other threads, see if I can find a place to join some other postings lobbing mud and gossip and only come back and throw in my counterfire after having ingratiated myself with the mob? In its counterpart in real life would you suggest that if I saw a person being mugged that I should ignore it for the first few times and only after deep soul searching at the umpteenth event then decide to do something about it?

Edmund Burke: 'It is necessary only for the good man to do nothing for evil to triumph'

In answer to your question re my identity and your implied doubting of its veracity, yes indeed “eyelinerprincess” I can confirm who I am. Looking into my wallet I find several items that confirm I am definitely me, unless of course cloning has moved on a whole lot and nobody told me. Can one be paranoid about being cloned or is that just an example of iteration?

So let’s see…in these days of identity theft and general nuisance spamming etc I take it you would like me to put my full name and address on here along with my telephone no, maybe the times the house is empty, where I work etc etc. Of course I could still fake that..telephone books, Google etc are a wonderful sources of such information.
But I’ll do you a favour; only you have to respond tit for tat as they say: You ask the nice man who runs this site (one Martin Lewis of this parish) to drop me a line at the email address I gave when I registered and I’ll arrange with him anything he thinks necessary to establish my bona-fides. You of course will also have to do the same, in order to establish your credibility as a sincere and interested party otherwise it would be natural that “we” might suspect that you might be just another mouthy, gossipy, interfering poster as is found too many times on these boards now wouldn’t it?

Alternatively, of course, you can offer up the name of a solicitor who is engaged by you and I will do the same. I will swear an affidavit to my solicitor and she will verify my identity (and total lack of involvement/association with JPR other than as a satisfied customer, or indeed any knowledge of Dave Brooker other than reading of/from him on here) to your solicitor. You, of course will foot the bill for this necessary act to assuage your suspicions. On receipt of that legal affirmation you will then post an apology to this board for your impugning of my honesty with your “suspicions”.
As a life-long Socialist (Socialist, not New Labour. I didn’t vote New Labour and I wouldn’t cross the road to spit on them if they were on fire) I find it odd to be defending a company, esp as I can think of some whose bosses/directors and pr/spin people should rot in hellfire for evermore, but that is how it is. JPR do not merit the ill-informed attention of a lynchmob!

PS Your “tagline” needs a little more added to it “and gives you an equally greater chance of coming out in a nasty rash!”

This thread has lost the plot - can't we let it die a natural death.

And it's hard to talk that way... :D

    Football results:

Chiltern Hundreds in Maidstone 'A' Manager - 0
Chiltern Hundreds in Maidstone 'B' Head Office - 0

Replay will be whenever Chiltern Hundreds in Maidstone teams can get their act together.

To be serious for a moment:

I wonder if spirit group's HO has actually done something with regards to the Chiltern Hundreds in Maidstone in response to the OP's letter, or are they using any complaints about the Chiltern Hundreds in Maidstone to wallpaper over any cracks in their office walls?

To be silly for a moment:

I wonder if the Chiltern Hundreds in Maidstone buy stuff from Dave Brooker's firm? :D
  • Jesus, this thread has gone insane. I'm a regular on here, and have lost count of how many times someone has come in with their first and last post to simply defend a company, and it's obvious they work for the company or have some financial interest in it. This is the way it always has been, and it is the way it will always be. Behind the computer screen I could be anyone, as could you.

  • You booked a chain pub for a funeral, what did you expect

During the day as well when they are often short staffed

Yes the service wasnt great and the location wasnt the most appropiate but then whoever organised it should take the blame too
