kittykitten wrote: »Query for anyone who lives/works in county durham (maybe geordie_lass?) what do you think are the best boots shops in the area?
I was supposed to leave work early today but didn't get the chance (usual story, too much work, not enough staff) so I'm going to try to take my time owing either tomorrow or friday. Thought I might do a mammoth bootsing trip on the way home, as many shops as I can find! I work in Darlington so will start off by hitting the 2 boots stores in the town centre - never been in either, so need to try both!
I live in tyneside, normally drive home up the A1 but can make a detour to any co durham boots that are worthwhile, as there's a number of different ways I can go home. Was thinking about coming home via durham, but need boots on the outskirts cos I need to be able to drive to them - can't be bothered with park & ride! I know where the Arnison centre is in Pity Me, so probably that one, but apart from that am open to suggestions if anyone's got any?
Thanks in advance!
They seem to have the best clearance section here and are the first of the 3 stores to make reductions such as the S&G sets, hatboxes, champagne etc.
Easy to get to if you are on your way home to Tyneside.
Marketplace is bigger, on two floors, friendly SA's with the odd dragon but, hey.. Clearance varies but not as good as the Arnison Centre, late making reductions too. They have a few seperate beauty counters in here. Not easy to get to on your way home as it's right in the city centre.
North Road is tiny but has a good clearance section, often has loads of make-up. SA's are lovely too. Worth a look if you are passing on foot one day.

There is a SEL on the instant radiance foundation that says only one concealer per transaction so it would be SA and till dependant whether you could get 3 free concealers.
Anyone want to try?
Hi y'all am back from TC, tried the foundations on back of hand and face but, well, don't like them...the coverage is too light and not one bit of 'radiance' is apparent! So i didn't go through the till with 3x to try if it worked with PC voucher. Pretty dissapointed really but as your above post my not have worked anyway
Would be v. interested to know if this does work if someone who likes them wants to give it a bash...
Scorpio Kitten? Have you seen any S&G steamy Showers sets round here. I bought 4 a few weeks ago then decided that was greedy so took 3 back. Was going to give the other away as I have really dodgy skin so didn't want to make it worse. Well tried the Body Butter (or whatever its called) and I love it. My skin feels fab and its not itching!!! I want the other three back.
Alas - no! All have been shnaffled away due to recent discounts. And the righteous butter is so darn lovely too....! Glad you liked it though and didn't have an adverse reaction to it. Aww bless you, sorry i can't bring you good news. xx

Hi CPGal
I know you are a bit of an expert here, can you think of any reason I had NO ACM offers except 150 points on £20 spend?
I was very disappointed today!!!!!

Sorry if this has already been posted but there are so many posts to read through.
Just bought Umberto Giannini Shampoo and Conditioner and with the £2 voucher got them both ofr £1.90. This included the buy to for £6 and the ACM voucher for half price conditioner when you buy a shampoo.
Great way of using up the haircare voucher.
thanks bloaty, I have 6 x 2.00 haircare vouchers to use by saturday:eek:
I also have the AC 1/2price vouchers, but I didn't know about 2 4 6.00 offerI didn't have a chance to buy anything today. I was really busy at work. Only popped in this morning to print off AC vouchers and quickly check out some of the new offers. Day off tomorrow. Boots...here I come:D

K
wish i was an expert.
Did you try more than one acm as sometimes they don't show up in one but appear in another. It may be a case of waiting until tomorrow and if they have not appeared then i would give cs a call especially since there a couple in their you want to use with your haircare vouchers."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure.
