Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 21 - Post your finds here

Took DS to Blackpool for day today. It would have been rude not to go and look in boots. Got a R&M Metallics set for £5.00 on clearence shelf, some Naked handcream 75p, Naked Handwash £1.50 and Badger Balm £1.25. Never tried Badger Balm before but I've read about you all raving about it so thought I'd give it a go!!! Also got DS couple of reduced easter things (just to keep him sweet!!).

Scorpio Kitten? Have you seen any S&G steamy Showers sets round here. I bought 4 a few weeks ago then decided that was greedy so took 3 back. Was going to give the other away as I have really dodgy skin so didn't want to make it worse. Well tried the Body Butter (or whatever its called) and I love it. My skin feels fab and its not itching!!! I want the other three back.

Does anyone know anything about the Boots store at Beckton Triangle Retail Park (London) please? I'm thinking of heading that way one day soon for a mooch around!

I hate you for this ...I stuck my card in the ATM tonight and there was no sign of this voucher, and I like the Mediterranean stuff too. Oh well...we'll see if I can get one on my OHs new ACM card.

But I've not had a bad day at all, despite my car having to go to the garage. Thanks to crazyposhgal I managed to get the last three pink Hatboxes in the reduced section at Straiton, marked down to £2.24! So three cheers for CPG!!:T :beer: :T

Total to pay after using Lipglaze voucher was £10.70 and got £2 tillspit.

Went to pay at photo counter. Till beeped when SA put through GWP. To cut a long story short we ended up downstairs with No7 SA, Benefit SA and photo SA trying to work it out. Turns out that the reduced liners, 3for2 offer and GWP all running together are causing problems with the 17 transactions. They eventually worked it out and said I could get any additional item as long as it wasn't a reduced liner, to qualify for 3for2 and GWP, got a 17 Shimmer brush as I was totally confused by then, didn't have time to try and split it into 2 transactions, oh well.

Looked at tillspit and remembered seeing a R&M blush brush upstairs on clearance so ran up to get it. SA didn't think it would work with the tillspit but it did, no beeps. Paid £1.75

I think this happened with the last No7/R&M voucher, it didn't work with No7 accessories and brushes but did with R&M so worth looking out for those brushes, particularly in clearance.

Arnison Centre, got a 17 Onyx eye liner £2.29 for DD and lipglaze but till refused lipglaze voucher so SA had to override it. No problem using ACM voucher for 150 points on Expert dry mouth spray together with 100 points mag voucher.

I'm quite happy with the new ACM vouchers, have printed out most of them and will be looking out for items in clearance to use them with, don't usually buy most of those products but they'll be great for hampers at the right price.

did you understand why you had to get a 4th item? This happened to me this morning at Arnison centre and I didn't really understand why so just left it. will try again in Durham.
i didn't even have the GWP only 2 lip liners and the lip glaze

Well done! I am glad you bought them as I can now save myself a trip to buy them when I don't really need or actually want them.I just felt i should buy them as they were a bargain!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

There is a SEL on the instant radiance foundation that says only one concealer per transaction so it would be SA and till dependant whether you could get 3 free concealers.
Anyone want to try?

I was there at the weekend, & TBH it wasn't that great. I guess it depends on the stock. we bought lots of vitamins, that were in big crates in the middle of the store at 20p each. other than that, no 7 sun stuff was cheaper (but not as cheap as the 6 for 1 stock I'm still working my way through ).

there was a lot of sanctuary stuff, mostly at £2 each.

3 small racks of kids clothes at 1/2 price.

I've seen buggies there before (eg. orange zapps at £75) but last week there were none.

however, the JD sports clearance shop next door was worth a visit, with women's trainers from £5. :T

I got 9 eyeliners from Oxford Street Boots to make up my £5 spend for the GWP, and got the last Soap and Glory 1.87 set, marked as £9! The GWP beeped, and she tried saying it was because the eyeliners were reduced, so I pointed out where it states "ALL NO17 COSMETICS", and she put it in my bag, its really cute!

Then got another box, so on 11 now XD

lol, no I didn't understand at all. That lovely Benefit girl did try to explain but even she was getting muddled up. It's something to do with the reduced price liners as they are now a clearance range, probably since the new stock was put onto the tills, though they are still on the shelves and SEL shows full price in Marketplace.
The SA's are going to have real problems with this until the old stock has been cleared I think.
The strange thing was that there was no problem with the Shimmer powder even though that is also reduced it was definitely the liners.

Was the lipliner that you got at the Arnison this morning a reduced one? Maybe that was the problem, when I looked there late this afternoon they had all gone, just the brand new shades were there. I got a new range eyeliner and lipglaze for DD but the till bleeped when the SA tried the mag voucher, I wasn't even doing a 3for2 or trying for the GWP

I joined in October and have never had a wlcome pack. When I went t o buy some Omega 3 tabs for DH they should have been 1/2 price but they didn't 'cos I never received an activation voucher. It says I'm a member when I go on Boots .com so I don't know what's up. I've filled one of the forms in about 2 weeks ago as well and still haven't heard anything.



jinjan - I received my Health Club pack today, so as Neo said, should take a few weeks but not months
