That's cos we're all sobbing into our med vouchers - LOL.
OOOOh - we need Orlaith - she'd know if the fun is all over or not!0 -
following on from my post yesterday, my mum has received a spring mailing today offering her lots of different discounts - half price sunglasses, 100 points when spending £15, etc, etc.
I haven't had one and have called CS to be told sending to selected customers only!!! Cheers for that Mr Boots - just coz I have over £70 in points I take it you think I don't need anymore! Rant Over
Anyway, I want to buy some new glasses while they have plenty of stock - was hoping this would be on new till spit but it wasn't to be.
Do you reckon I could use her vouchers with my card? My little local boots who have great SA's don't stock them so would have to go further afield. the vouchers have her name on them but also have a bar code so thinking they may not go through???There are only two things a child will share willingly - communicable diseases and their mother's real age0 -

There are two stores in Maidstone.
The smaller one in Fremlin Walk has a clearance shelf right at the back, which is sometimes good but was absolute bobbins today.
The other, larger store is in the Chequers Centre and stocks most things (had S&G sets, Expert GWP etc). The staff are usually good with vouchers.
Neither are as good as Bluewater for range of stock but there are a few more bargains to be found in Maidstone.
BTW the store in Chatham has half decent clearance and LOVELY staff :T
HTH
thanks for that x0 -

Could we please try and keep this thread Boots related?
I've read this thread daily for ages now but the amount of unecessary posts is getting out of hand. I really don't mean to offend anyone but all the posts like 'you have a PM' and general chitchat etcetc just clog up the thread making it a nightmare to catch up on.
Maybe folk could use the PM facility more often and then Crazyposhgal (who we all love and admire for her dedication and hard work on this thread) wouldn't have to keep opening new threads.
I know I'm not alone in thinking this!;)*Jelly_Tots* wrote: »Wow, it's amazing the way a harsh 'virtual' comment can be as upsetting as a 'real' one.(I pressed *thanks* button by accident !)
The up-to-date Boots facts are on page one, btw.
Aawwwww *Jelly Tots* :grouphug:
Well, I think the fact that the Boots thread is friendly compared to the say...tesco one...for example, is wonderful!
I think alot of us go off on tangents at times and of course go completely off topic aswell. I think that is just because we 'forget' ourselves at times, because the thread is so friendly. I'd be the first to hold my hands up!
But to look at the other side of the coin...the 'Boots No chat' thread that was started had 9 responses to the OP's thread and lasted from the 4th till the 5th of Feb.
I think that says something.0 -
i have the same problem with the boots.com it always stops working and then i refresh and it doesnt work, does everyone have this problem? xx
I find if you log in it really helps.
Also I find if I search for items and then use part of the drop down menu...when I click on a product to look at it, it does not take me back when I click back etc. So I just open any product I want to take closer look at or add to my basket in a seperate window. That made it ten times quicker for the sale too.
But, I think no matter what you do, it is just a bit pants!0
