thinking of things to store vouchers in, tesco borehamwood had some reduced paisley organisers, about a6 ish size with a note pad pen and little expanding pockets think they were about £1.50ish and quite pretty
I've been looking wistfully at the GWP tin with Boots Expert stamped on the lid, if only it was handbag sized.....
You never know, the next GWP might be a wallet with pockets :D Shame they don't give them out with Advantage cards, it would make sense seeing as they keep giving us all these vouchers. Mr Boots, if you're listening..... :rotfl:

following on from my post yesterday, my mum has received a spring mailing today offering her lots of different discounts - half price sunglasses, 100 points when spending £15, etc, etc.

I haven't had one and have called CS to be told sending to selected customers only!!! Cheers for that Mr Boots - just coz I have over £70 in points I take it you think I don't need anymore! Rant Over

Anyway, I want to buy some new glasses while they have plenty of stock - was hoping this would be on new till spit but it wasn't to be.

Do you reckon I could use her vouchers with my card? My little local boots who have great SA's don't stock them so would have to go further afield. the vouchers have her name on them but also have a bar code so thinking they may not go through???
Depends if you have an eagle eyed SA, I prefer if I am using another persons voucher to say I have forgotten my card and get the receipt validated ~ then just get them added at a later date;)
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

I am sorry that you don’t like the chat and somebody has probably already mentioned this but page 1 has all the updated glitches and offers - I don’t contribute much in the way of glitches but I for one enjoy reading about everybody’s escapades and think it would be a dull thread if they were to stop.....I would probably end up only reading the first page and then have nobody to share my "habit" with :)
    :T :T :T I agree I love the chat :T :T :T

For info only... if anyone does not want to read a particular members posts they can add them to an ignore list

Ignore lists are used for those people whose messages you wish not to read. By adding someone to your ignore list, those messages posted by these individuals will be hidden when you read a thread.

Could we please try and keep this thread Boots related?
I've read this thread daily for ages now but the amount of unecessary posts is getting out of hand. I really don't mean to offend anyone but all the posts like 'you have a PM' and general chitchat etcetc just clog up the thread making it a nightmare to catch up on.
Maybe folk could use the PM facility more often and then Crazyposhgal (who we all love and admire for her dedication and hard work on this thread) wouldn't have to keep opening new threads.
I know I'm not alone in thinking this!;)

    Aawwwww *Jelly Tots* :grouphug:

Well, I think the fact that the Boots thread is friendly compared to the say...tesco one...for example, is wonderful!

I think alot of us go off on tangents at times and of course go completely off topic aswell. I think that is just because we 'forget' ourselves at times, because the thread is so friendly. I'd be the first to hold my hands up!

But to look at the other side of the coin...the 'Boots No chat' thread that was started had 9 responses to the OP's thread and lasted from the 4th till the 5th of Feb.

    I think that says something.

not being funny but had to comment.. the original Boots tarts, Liverbird, Bham-dave, me and lots of others had this when we were all "chatting" on the thread..mods closed the thread.... I started a "talk about anything" thread in the arms and it was the most viewed and fastest growing thread in there... till that was "closed" by the mods too... funny how things that go around come back around!

It's usually in a big tub and contains either cocoa butter or shea butter with fragrances, it's a really rich moisturising cream.
Do you need it? Answer: yes if it's got lots of points on it or has a good glitch :rotfl:
