not being funny but had to comment.. the original Boots tarts, Liverbird, Bham-dave, me and lots of others had this when we were all "chatting" on the thread..mods closed the thread.... I started a "talk about anything" thread in the arms and it was the most viewed and fastest growing thread in there... till that was "closed" by the mods too... funny how things that go around come back around!

Well...as a long time 'lurker' I must say I have seen the subject come up an awful lot! I mean sometimes I read 6 pages of things that are realted to stock in specific stores etc...but I do not read it as it is of no use to me, I just scroll and skim and wizz through the posts super fast. Easy Peasy.

It's usually in a big tub and contains either cocoa butter or shea butter with fragrances, it's a really rich moisturising cream.
Do you need it? Answer: yes if it's got lots of points on it or has a good glitch :rotfl:
PMSL, as long as I don't have to spread it on with a knife :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Mind you for a load of free points I could be tempted. To keep it Boots related, are there any you recommend, fragrance wise. I love fruity stuff like the Natural Collection but I'm a Boots novice so not really smelt the other ranges :D

Well I am probably going to get slaughtered for this but here goes......

Could we please try and keep this thread Boots related?
I've read this thread daily for ages now but the amount of unecessary posts is getting out of hand. I really don't mean to offend anyone but all the posts like 'you have a PM' and general chitchat etcetc just clog up the thread making it a nightmare to catch up on.
Maybe folk could use the PM facility more often and then Crazyposhgal (who we all love and admire for her dedication and hard work on this thread) wouldn't have to keep opening new threads.
I know I'm not alone in thinking this!;)

I know what you mean, if you keep up with a few threads, it's impossible to read all the stuff printed on here. Is it worth having a discussion thread separate to the glitches, deals etc., thread? I know there are a few other topics like this, where they've split them.

This means that those who want to chat can do so and those that want to post glitches or read about them can do so without it taking half an hour a day? Again, no offence meant, just trying to find a solution that might suit everyone?

We are a friendly bunch, I agree with you chocolatefudge (nice name by the way!).
Other boards on here can be harsh with newbies and not have much patience but the Boots folk are fab.
I debated about posting, but judging from the amount of PM's I have had I wasn't the only one. I just had the balls to post what I thought.
My only point was its a bit frustrating reading 30 pages of 'you have a PM' etc just to find the glitches, I just thought maybe if the PM facility was used more maybe the thread wouldn't be so long!
I love reading how brave some folk on here are, who shall remain nameless, my heart is pounding when I try the glitches, but I guess the fun is in the chase.;)
I love page 1 and always read that first, thanks to Crazyposhgal again for updating it, you are a star. :A
Please lets just move on now...........................

Maybe if we all got in the habit of logging in we would know when we have a pm so we could cut out these posts.

Ninetails - you're very lucky! I went to try the Med soap glitch today in Richmond and it didn't work. The voucher beeped loud and clear! I'm annoyed with myself now for not giving it a go yesterday as I went in, saw the soap and the bag and then chickened out! Oh well, I've learnt my lesson.

Kew didn't have any of the vouchers available in either of their machines today.

They did have LOADS of expert tins and nail sets. No accessorize nor S&G sets tho :(

Thanks Nine Tails for the heads up on the nail sets. I was thinking there would be none left, but the shelf was FULL and marked at £10. I bet they have boxes out back... AND... you can get the pink GWP box free, too. They had lots of Med Soaps, which is irrelevent really as no vouchers and no glitch

N7 Nail Set going through at £2.50 down from £15. THIS is the one to look for.

Just to let you know that these are also on 3 for 2! Got 3 for £5 today... well impressed

I think that you would like the med and amazon range Vanda, they do minis..only 1 flavour body butter online though. Might try my Med vouchers with these minis as it does not say 'excludes minatures' and they are handy size for travelling!

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
