Just to reiterate what every OSer and his dog has already said, if your thread doesn't get replied to don't take it personally.

I read this thread and others on here for ages before I posted and everyone made me feel really welcome.

well I've been to asda and aldi. must look at some recipes. seem to end up having the same meals over and over again. tonight we are having meatballs which I will do in a homemade tomato sauce in the oven. Bought some garlic to put in it which I have hidden since Mr D thinks he doesnt like garlic ;) only I dont tell him when I use it and he never notices!!

I've done some washing, ignored the ironing which I had sort of thought about doing ;) , tidied round, had some lunch and if I hadnt just hurt my knee tripping over the laptop charging cable I would have taken the dog out. I have an old problem with my knee which bothers me from time to time. at the moment its burning sore so best rest it I think and certainly standing at that ironing table is out of the question ;) The dog has not had many walks this week because she has had a problem with her paws but since she seemed better today I was hoping to get her out for a decent walk.
