Good morning, I've got a border collie, she's the love of my life, I tend to feet her Tesco's finest dog meat with gravy and drayed Wafco food, they sell it at most pet stores, seems a good price, and my princess seems to like it, she's also quite fond of a Pigs ear or two, or the knuckle bones from the butchers.
why do we do it,

spending money we dont have on things we dont need

We've used Burns for over three years for Tilly, davsidipp, and it works well for us/her. She usually has a bit of what we're having (I cook all mine from fresh), particularly veg. No wind, small poos, and doesn't work out expensive either. What do you use at the moment?

hi georgina ive tried bakers wagg james welbeloved and lidl own brand and all have same effect.i also add tinned winalot aswell so i am probably making it worse. i know its horrible but parsons have monkey like bums and he also leaks although his gland are not infected so it might be what i am feeding him.i really need to sort it out as he passes wind all the time and it is so annoying when people are round with the smell any advice would be great.

TMI! :rotfl:
Tilly's a Parsons too. Not sure what you mean by 'money like bums'?!

It might be the Winalot. If you're feeding a good quality complete feed, you shouldn't need to add anything else. :)

Ah no, P@H don't do it.

Have a look on the Burns website for local stockists. :)

• I work at Pets at Home and we sell loads of the frozen minced dog food, as well as the stuff with bones. Tripe is the best seller but even in a bag and frozen it smells so I would hate to have to defrost it, can't imagine the smell, lol.

The packs say it is only for working dogs though and I am sure all the customers don't have working dogs, so I only hope they are balancing it with something and not just giving them meat.

I only have cats and they are on PAH complete, used to be on half hills half go-cat till they made the PAH stuff. The cat and the dog are pretty much equivalent to iams, hills, eukanuba, proplan etc but a lot cheaper cos it's not advertised externally so no big advertising budget. I stopped working there for 6 months but still fed the food as my cats do well on it, so I am not promoting PAH food (for the sake of it)or anything, lol

Mine's a Pedigree baby. She's had pedigree dried food since she was a pup and has a fantastic shiney coat and no digestive problems. She also has JW crackerjack biscuits as treats and any leftovers from DD's dinner. Oh, and toast and peanut butter for breakfast :D

I avoid markies as she swallows them whole, and pigs ears, which she tries to swallow whole (yeugh)
• I was just doing my weekly shop online and noticed this stuff. I normally feed my dogs a complete dog food with a little bit of canned which they seem to have stuck well with. I was wondering if anyone uses this or has tried it and whats it like? I don't really want to buy it if its just cheap and nasty. Thanks!
