    £25 on full holding!
I've kept a spreadsheet since the start of 2022 and colour coded each month's winnings Black for about what's expected with average luck, Green for better and Red for worse - currently £100 to 175, £200 or more, and £75 or less respectively. I've never had a single green month, but 5 red months and only £875 in 2023 - it 'should' be about £1,350 for the £25-100 prizes; I don't expect to ever win anything more than £100. 2022 was 10 black and 2 red. Even if I were to win 5 prizes in December I'd still have fewer than last year despite the odds improving, though in 2022 every prize was just £25 and I was still behind the going rate.
Perhaps I should call it a day.
Well, ultimately some people have to do more poorly so that others can get better than the average odds and I think that is you and me. 😂
I am on £1000 for the last 12 months (helped by £200) from this draw. Admittedly I’ve not been the full holding the entire time but have always been over £35k and for quite a few months close to the £50k.

I keep thinking about putting money in a savings account instead but unusually for me I will be a higher rate tax payer this tax year I think (need to work it out as higher rate is different where I am in Scotland but I believe the figures for rest of uk are used when calculating tax banding in relation to tax on interest).

I do regret not opening an Isa for last tax year! Plus I do wonder if I would do just as well at “winning” even if I take out £20k 😂
I had full holding for a while and didn't do very well, so pulled £30k into a fix instead.  Ironically, I have done tangibly better on £20k/£22k than I had done with the full holding - I think largely because it coincided with the changes in prize allocations.

Through most of 2022 I only got £25 prizes, occasionally up to 3 of them.  From December last year, I've had 10 x £100 prizes (x3 in July) and a few £50s.  I bought my PBs originally in £10k tranches, to try and separate the numbers and all of my winners are from the £20k that remained.  I bought another £2k in April, after an inheritance - as my share of my aunt's PB holding - but not had any winners from that batch at all.  It's funny how random stuff doesn't always feel that random.

    2 x £25, 2 x £50 and 2 x £100 = £350 on full holding.

£50 on full holding. My abysmally bad luck continues. My returns are way below average.
