That's around 5.7%, so pretty good! You're screwing up the averages for everyone else :p

I'm really tempted to buy £2,000 worth, but just can't make up my mind. The alternative is that the money goes in a savings account with a 6% interest along with another £10,000.

I'd be really grateful for help/comments (for and against)

I'm against and would go for the savings - but someone at work just keeps on winning. As the Premium Bond people would say she has 'better than average' luck. I think she's smug and self-satisfied but what does she care!

So saying, I do have £1000 in PB, so not completely following my own advice!

I've read an old article by Martin and he seems to think they aren't worth it.

I'm not sure why I'm tempted, I guess it is the 'chance' element.

Not as much as M3_Sussex is, and Lea (IIRC) whose boyfriend won £100k :)

The % was better when I calculated it last month ;)

£50 again for me this month - I was so looking forward to being a millionaire! Still I am £50 better off than I was yesterday and I had all the fun of wondering if I had hit the jackpot this time.

So what's the game if you hit the big one?

Do you get visit off some hot person (gender dependent) who gives you the cheque?
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:
