I have over £15k in premium bonds, no win for the last two months. Will be cashing in after the June bumper draw.
Might change my mind if I win over £5k minimum!!!0 -
This month's return for me (full holding):
December: £0
January: £0
February: £500 + £50
March £100 + £100
April £100 + £50 + £50
May £50
Total after 6 months: £1000 (equivalent to 6.66% per year tax free, 8.3% for a basic rate taxpayer or 11% for a higher rate taxpayer)..0 -
I'm well chuffed
I started buying in £50 chunks here and there since Nov 05, I only have £400 total, and this month I won £50 from a bond bought in Dec05 - Must be well better than an 8% savings account!!!

2 £50 wins this month.
But they were only 34 numbers apart; Oh I wish they were the top prize.0 -
Another humble 1x £50 for me during May.
Puts me upto 7.33% net so far for the year - a year for this annual count ending in the October 2007 draw...so a few more months to go for that % to climb hopefully!
Good Luck everyone...!Beware Lego Men with Deep pockets...! :cool:0 -
Yep - Just one £50 for me too. Roll on June!0

My £1 bond purchased for me in 1961 still hasn't won0

FWIW neither my wife or myself won nowt this month and why is it that some lucky peeps win big prizes but we always get the 'poxy' 50notes? I realise that the odds of winning a biggy are much greater but someone wins and it's never us! We have held various amounts of bonds since 1965.0

I have held the full amount for about 5 years. I have never won more than £100 as a single prize (and that only once) although I did win 5 x £50 one month last year. It's odd how you have won £100 three times in two months when I set it against my experience!!0
