Various bonds (2 - 5k) totalling 17.5k purchased July 20 - June 22. Returns as follows (Jan - Dec):
2020 - 25
2021 - 150 (6x25)
2022 - 500 (3x100 2x50 4x25)
2023 - 75
Recently bought more ( in draw 1 April) and cashed in those that hadn't won in a while. Three bonds have won most of the money.0 -
I put only 1k in on a whim before New year and just won £50. Nice.Time to withdraw.2

First month with a combined £100k as the wife put £50k of her inheritance into Premium Bonds. Zero prizes between us. The calculator below says that with £100k, there's a 98% chance of winning £25 at least once, 90% chance of winning £50 and 70% chance of winning £100, so we're proof that luck is part of the draw.

Approx £1000 from 10 months (max savings). Not good.... The money's going into an isa fix now £20,000 now and £20,000 after 6 April. Hopefully the rates stay good till then...

Zero on max following blank February.
As I said last month funny how chance works 4 prizes in Jan, zero in Feb & Mar.
Does make me think winners often come from groups of numbers0 -

I've just more or less ditched them now. At 2.85% I'll just leave them in the savings account to at least guarantee a return. I've ended up feeling far more disappointed every month than a 'bit of fun' ought to elicit.1 -
I haven't posted in a while but the last few months' results on full holdings:
November: £100
December: £100
January: £0
February: £125
March: £25SAVER0
