Some context from this month's winnings:

    £100 from a £5,400 batch purchased in 2015 - 29 prizes won // £950 total winnings
    £50 from a £100 batch purchased 2001 - 1st prize won // £50 total winnings
    £50 from a £10,500 batch purchased in 2021 - 8 prizes won // £300 total winnings
    £25 from a £4,000 batch purchased in 2020 - 8 prizes won // £200 total winnings
    £25 from a £500 batch purchased in 1995 - 4 prizes won // £1,100 total winnings - I won £1,000 six months after I bought this batch back in 1995 - highest amount I have ever won
    £25 from a £100 batch purchased in 2001 - 5 prizes won // £150 total winnings

     1 x £100 1 x £50   2 x £25 on max holding.
  • 2x £25, 1x £50, 1x £100 = £200 on £50k.  Beats the big fat zero from last month.  (£550 is the most I won in May '18.  I liked that month....)
  • 1 x £100 on max holding.

My first ever £100 win - never anything better - but only my second prize this year with max holding. 'Should ' have had at least six by now. Surely things have got to get better....

So far this year I've won, on a £27.5k holding:

    January - 1 x £100
    February - Nothing
    March - 2 x £50

So if my luck stays the same for the rest of the year that will be a return of about 2.9%, equivalent to about 4.83% if I was paying tax on it. Not bad for a (relatively) instant access account.

Zero for us this month after £5,025 last month, but then we did withdraw everything but a few hundred quid to pay builders so that is hardly surprising. I started rebuilding the balance again last week so will have a bit more in the April draw. The prize fund rate seems decent enough and I enjoy the excitement of checking the prizes each month so PBs are going to be the new home for my income tax fund.
