Like some others on here, I always feel that "lucky money" should be used wisely and invested for rainy days ahead but I guess that people are either spenders or savers.
My grandmother when in her 80's was "still saving up for her old age" and I'm afraid I,ve inherited a lot of her genes so unless Ernie maximum holding is increased, my odd winnings go into my ISA.1 -
My winnings just contribute to £10 a month of income.
If I ever get a big win then sure I may invest it or stash it as long term savings.

Since retiring my monthly income is of course a lot smaller. So this months win means I can pay off my credit card in full as usual. Instead of taking it out of my Virgin M account.2

£25 for me on £50KI have won 10 times out of 12 last year - sometimes 25, 50 or 75I would love to have a couple zeros added to those figures, but at least I am winning something
