£50000 invested nothing the last 3 months.
    What's the odds on that?
No chance at all this is random.
Wherever you have a human input to something with a financial gain you will get the probability of fraud.
Odds are about 1.3% - so not that unusual and entirely consistent with a random allocation.
Do you think someone goes through the results looking for metrobus winnings and allocates them to someone else?
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

The odds are 1.29% according to the MSE calculator, so unlucky but not freakishly so....
1.29% on nothing in 3 months?

Yes, with a maximum holding for one month the chance of drawing a blank is 23.5%, so for three months it's 23.5% x 23.5% x 23.5% = 1.29%, or roughly 1 in 78, i.e. hardly conspiracy theory territory....

The calculator is linked at the foot of the page, try it and see for yourself!

And of course even if the chance was one in a million, you'd expect it to happen to 22 Premium Bond holders...

Well, I'm quite pleased so far.  £50,000 holding, first draw March:
    March - £75
    April - £25
    May - £125
So £200 in three months, 0.4%.
Better than a savings account but not as good as investments return which stands at 5% since January.   On balance, though, I'd rather leave some cash in PBs as it's a bit of fun and someone has to win the Big One...
