Won £125 on £20k. Held for one month.

That's lucky only having held them for a month.

This winner got very lucky, winning the (March) jackpot in his first month that his £7k bonds were eligible to win a prize:

  • 1 x £25 for me this month on a £25k holding.

£75 won in total this year to date.

Just to add a bit of random info:-
I've just done a bit of a tot up and over the 30 years of holding Premium Bonds I have received approx. £7.5k in "prizes".
During this time my holding has been from £1k slowly increasing up to the current holding.

2 x £25 this month on £500. In total £100 on £500 in 5 years. I consider myself lucky to get so much on such a small amount.

After holding PB for nearly 8 years at various levels, first 30k (back when that was the limit) to 50k when cap was lifted.. Overall i always thought over the year i might win big before i cash it all and buy a house.. that time has now come and i've put all that into a house deposit. it was a good journey on PB but now im done. I've invested a bit in shares and its done well, i found money grows a lot quicker in equities compared to bonds.. clearly the thrill of winning is what attracted me to PB, but 40 billion to 1 are not the odds i'll continue to chase.

    Happy this month :)
5 x £25 wins, which is ok, especially as I reduced my holding before the draw to 30k from 50k.
Total £175 this year to date..

On a holding of £15k. I cannot quite believe it haha. Maybe time to withdraw as i will probably never win anything like that again.
