Normality continues - 22 draws now without winning a thing after buying 6k of bonds. Can I get to 2 years?

No I won’t get to 2 years. After 23 months I finally win £25. Trying to decide now if I give up with them or seeing if this is the start of a roll.

It's not, it's down to the random chance of winning just as the previous 22 months were down to the random chance of not winning.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

    £14000 PB for nearly 12m.

Martins calculator says with average luck should have won £175 in 12m.

Won two £25 prizes, one of those March 1st so £50.

Interest in a 1.25% instant access account over 12m £175.

Net loss £125. I haven't even got average luck which makes me feel sad:(

Leave money in PB for another month and lose another £14.50 approximately as against the slim chance of winning another £25 or maybe £1,000,000 at 35 billion to one chance:D

As for the theory that new bonds win more often it was only when I put it in my diary to check Bond prizes on March 1st and if I didn't win a prize cash them all in that I won the first prize since last July £25! I know its all down to luck but it only when I've just bought new bonds that I've won even if the winning one was bought years ago or in this case decided to sell that I won! Anyone know where I can buy some magical thinking!?:A

Conclusion savings interest rates are rubbish, PB are even worse.
