Ah, yes. Looks like first month teething problems.

That's weird how can your bond be worth 40K but your holdings are less, I saw at least 6 like this in the list.

This has been altered now. I looked this morning to see what you meant , and both say £40k . Bit worrying ,mistakes like that , especially if they happen regularly which this thread implies . This is a board I rarely frequent , so thats been an eye opener. Makes you wonder what other mistakes go on. All my little wins have been on bonds bought since 1990 .

On this Aug list , I see no bond earlier than 1972 winning - Since Ernie started around '65 Im wondering whether or not to encash my very early dribs and drabs and buy one new block --- even though logic tells me they wont have a better chance all things being equal -- but mistakes if they are made in other areas of the system too, make things unequal, dont they? Makes me wonder - although Im sure this must have been covered many times on here in different threads over the years - so whats the latest overall opinion on old bonds chances please- do mistakes alter anyones opinion?

    £5Dec-72
That will be a nice suprise, I guess with only £14 they will forget they even had it!!!!
Good for them, I hope they enjoy their windfall.

I do wonder about the quality of the site when you sort by purchased date and they are sorted by alphabetical month order rather than chronologically.

Another £50 for me in August's draw - that's £200 since May on £30k holding which I'm pleased with.

    Well I do apologise.
Have not got online account but cannot therefore understand why list cannot be published at the same time as you are aware online.
It is not as if they are still using quill pens.
It is only 1 table of account numbers and prizes.
Equally I do not understand why they do not insist these days for large holders to be paid by BACS and email confirmation.
Last month we got 9 sep envelopes and at 60 p a letter that is a lot of money on postage on a million prizes.

I think most people have their prize winnings paid into their bank account, and receive emails rather than letters. Worth setting up an online account, if only to easily change the account settings according to how you want to run the account.

third month in a row of no wins on 30k.
