I've had premium bonds worth over £4000 over the last 3years..no win at all yet. However, a friend of mine bought about £1000 worth of premium bonds 6 months ago & he's had 2 wins of £50.

look at the evidence ...even on here the newer bonds are winners ...or so it seems

bad news if they cut the prize fund though ........... might have to rethink taking my holding to 30k

dont see how they can justify it

Darn, now my conspiracy theory has been proven wrong

Ok, how about, only people with an A in their surname win prizes?? ;) :rotfl:

Can you have prizes credited directly in to a bank account?

When I last held PBs you either reinvested the winnings - up to the £30k max - or you had to hope the postal service never lost one of the warrants that NS&I send every time. The thought of having multiple prizes from the full
£30k investment rattling around in the postal service month after month is a bit worrying and doesn't fill me with confidence.

You're still dependent on the post if you re-invest as they send you your new bond certificate.

And to answer Crabman's second question, no don't have a A in my surname...

    Of course! Doh!
I'm always wary of anything nowadays that uses the post for important documents or cheques on a regular basis.
For me that's one of the main advantages of internet banking over postal accounts.

    Thanks.
