Premium Bond Winner ?

Don't despair ! - can I quote from Ernie's website -
Myth 2: “You have to have £30,000 Premium Bonds (the maximum holding) to win the jackpot”
In July 2004, the winner of the £1 million jackpot had just £17 in Premium Bonds, purchased in 1959, and 9 of the last 12 jackpot winners held less than the £30,000 maximum. The more Bonds held, the better the chances of winning, but this doesn’t mean prizes are won exclusively by higher value holdings.0 -

Premium bonds - it is pretty much all about luck. A friend temporarily put in £30K in premium bonds for 11 months last and this year, including the month where they don't get entered in the draw, and I worked the percentage return he got as 1.82%, which is pretty rubbish. He mostly got a £50 prize here and there.
But.. you could always net that big prize..!0 -

How much do we need to invest to make it seem like we're winning? I've already lost around £90 in interest by having my money sitting in NS&I  I know there is a "chance" but I've not won anything yet0

Friends of mine have had a few pounds in for a few years, they won £50 this month and have had several wins over the last few years which they reinvest and they seem very happy with it.0
