What do you think is best? for like a 30k stake to break the values up in different batches or just have one block of numbers?....I guess its all a bit of a lottery...no wait, sorry...wrong 1

For me so far 2% return since October
Started buying Premium bonds in small batches (you could invest in just one bond in those days) when they first started and won nowt.
Years later I sold all the small bundles and bought in quantities of £1000. If they didn't get a prize in any year they were sold.
I came to the conclusion that some numbers got lost or were
too far back in ERNIES memory.
Now I buy in blocks of 5000 +, but once again if there are no prizes in that block in a one year period they are sold and a new block purchased.
Still getting a return of 1% per year with this method, but if saving rates ever go up again its back to the Building Society.Trying to learn something new every day.0 -

Thanks Annie
I am thinking of putting £10,000 into Premium Bonds, just wondering what is the longest amount of months any of you have gone without a win with bonds totalling £10,000 or more??0
