Thanks for the heads up Gers, I had no idea you got a personal visit from the NSI lol.

Personally, I'd prefer an email and a direct payment over a visit

3 x £25 for me, so pleased as first month we have had extra money in the draw, decided we would put it in for 12 mths and if no winnings pop it into a savings account, no need now.

Hope it's not just beginners luck

I’m beginning to wonder if any prizes of more than £25 actually exist.
That’s the only amounts we have ever won and it seems that everyone else have a similar story.
So who are the people (if any) who manage to get a larger slice of the cake????

Exactly my point. I’ve just checked the premium bond web site and found that once again we (ie: my wife and I) have won 4 prizes of £25, but each year we only manage a miserly 1% return overall.

in 5 months we have had 175 from max bonds so an av of 35 per month giving return of 420 per year ( at same average)giving us just under 1.5% not much but better than nothing and we have chance of big wins, we shall review at end of 12 months and see what happens

My situation is the same as yours.
Each year I tot-up our wins and come out with a similar % as you.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for better things to come.
Until interest rates improve for savings, I suppose it’s best taking the gamble.
    GOOD LUCK.
