I don't know when the lower wins go online because I don't check until the draw for them is completed. You can find out sooner than that if you're a small winner, by logging-in; maybe Magnolia did that.

In my experience, the £25 awards never show (on your account, or any list) on the first. They can show as late as the 5th, but normally appear 3rd/4th of a month.

As of now, neither the web nor the mobile price checker yet have the February winners.

Do you think that idea of cashing them in every so often and then re-buying different numbers actually works?

I think my numbers have inadvertently been erased or buried;)

My numbers are in there, melbury, and come up with frequent £25s but I'm thinking of cashing in and rebuying. BTW I'm sure numbers don't get erased or buried, it's just the luck of the draw. Has anyone cashed in and got a new lot with greater success?

Buying a new lot should make no difference whatsoever, ERNIE stands for Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment; in other words it is random numbers that are generated, so each bond, where or when bought, stands as much chance as any other.

Hope this helps, a history of ERNIE and a few myths dispelled.

To be slightly pedantic, cashing in and buying afresh does in fact make a difference - it makes it less likely that you will win.

Since any bonds you buy are only entered from the second month that you hold them, you would essentially be missing one draw by cashing in and repurchasing, reducing the amount you win.

But from the second month onwards, your odds are exactly the same.

If you want to increase your income from this money, then cash them in and put the money in a savings account.
