Apparently we looked too soon. I thought we were told we'd find out about small prizes sooner by logging in. But my £25 didn't appear in Prize history until today, and I'd have found out just as soon using the old prize checker. Thanks for that. I had tried that yesterday but as nothing showing for October didn't think that I was looking in the right area!! (I was living in hope wasn't I!!!)
"It will take, five, 10, 15 years to get back to where we need to be. But it's no longer the individual banks that are in the wrong, it's the banking industry as a whole." - Steven Cooper, head of personal and business banking at Barclays, talking to Martin Lewis0 -
2 * £25 and my capital intact phew!
As an aside does anyone record their wins ?
I hold just short of the maximum and over the last 5 years one number has come out twice (within six months) and the longest run of consecutive non winning bonds is 2400 + imagine "investing" £2400 for 5 years without one prize.0 -

Don't know if things have changed recently, but in the past when I tried it, the prizes were not showing when I just entered my holders number in the prize checker on the homepage but they did show up when I logged in to my online account.Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk0 -
If I don't win next month I really will have to cash them in, rates are rising ever so slightly on some instant access accounts and the interest would be much more than the prizes. Have won.0

I had £25 this month. I only have £1200 in but dont want to move it as interest rates are so low its worth a punt that I might win the million!!0

I dont get this when people comment when a rich individual donates whatever to wherever, this repulsive jealousy of people who make money despite being self made just shows what the word socialists really mean...!! They dont want anyone having anymore than they have... plain truth..sad.... me? well if i had his money i would not give a sod about any charities because people like you down people that have money...and it makes me sick...the world has to go round and we must all be individual!:mad:Another thing Alan Sugar didn't mention in his ad is that he would be donating any prizes that he wins on the Premium Bonds to Great Ormond Street LOL0 -
It makes me happy when I see rich people donating money, doesn't make me jealous. I think that reflects well on them.
Not a huge AS fan, but good for him!0 -
