The odds of winning six £50 in a month must be greater than winning the big one ,but not the reward, think you dealt to soon

    Er not quite.

The odds of winning the big one are something like 30 billion to one.

The odds of a maximum holding winning £300 of prizes is probably around 4 to one.

Well it proves you're more likely to win with 5,000 'tickets' than 10...

According to the premium bond website -

"Each £1 Bond number has an equal chance of winning, regardless of when it was bought. Bonds purchased more recently may seem to win more often, but this is because there are more new Bonds than old ones. Since the £1 million jackpot prize was introduced in April 1994, more Bonds have been sold than in the preceding 37 years put together."

Whether you believe that or not is another matter, I suppose.

my sisters, my mum and I each have £10. Very very old bonds, I think from the early 80's. We won £50 on one lot in 2000. We have a deal that whatever the win we split it between the four of us, so i got a nice £12.50 to put towards my shopping while I was at uni!!!!
