I increased my holding on 2nd June, would those bonds have been counted for July or will they start in August?
Thanks
They will start in August. You need to have the bonds for one complete calender month before they become eligible to be entered into the draw.0 -

Yes, you're only likely to have 1 win per year on that amount.twelvegoldbars wrote: »nothing for me on £2507:(:(:(,second month now on £2500,am i impatient?:DStompa0 -

£25 for us this month on 21k holdings. :jMags - who loves shopping0

Currently i have a return of 3.14%, while my wife has a return of 1%.0

£25 for me -
Still puzzled as to, why, since the £25 came in, I get £25 most months when I used to get £50 most months
.
I thought the £25s were funded from the removal of a £1 million prize, and were additional to the £50s etc
Presumably without the £25, I would have had nothing in all these months, so I suppose I should be grateful

5 x £25 This month from max holding .Thats £175 so far this year .Anybody know what return this is0

£175 over 7 months equates to £25 per month, or £300 per year. £300 on a max holding of £30000 is a return of 1%.newcastleneil wrote: »5 x £25 This month from max holding .Thats £175 so far this year .Anybody know what return this isStompa0 -
All,
Ok, this is our situation:
Purchased £1500 in Nov 08. Received a block of £1,000 and £500.
In June 09, won £50 (kept and switched to reinvestment)
I then switched to purchasing £100 per month from July 09.
Won £25 (reinvested) in Jan 10 (so must have had £1500+£500).
No wins since, now have £2725 worth.
>Forgot to add, both wins have been in the £500 block!!! Which seems a strange co-incidence to me.
>Is it worth me cashing in some of the £1200 and then repurchasing as one block? Is there a way to do this to minimize the outage from draws?
Therefore, to date, a reasonable return, but not great. Thoughts?
Given were we are, my wife and I have the opportunity of investing another £25k-£30k in bonds or savings for 8months. I personally would like to see what returns/lucky we'd be with that bigger amount.
What are people's opinions? We are likely to keep in for short term (new kitchen and other building work early next year).
I'd appreciate any feedback, good or bad.
Thanks and kind regards
