So according to the article the lower prize pay out is because holders have asked for more frequent winnings? Funny that, as I thought it was due to the lower interest rates and the fact that NS&I don't get anywhere near what they used to get from saving our money!
It's just a coincidence then that this decision comes just when there is a recession and interest rates are down!!!
I wonder if the total number of prizes have increased?0 -
Anyway, I look at the list of winners on the NS&I website each month, just out of curiosity.
Every month there is at least one person who wins big on a total holding of £100.
This month, one person from suffolk has won £10,000 on a £1 bond and a total holding of £6 bought in 1970.

I just told my collegue that someone won £10,000 on a £1 bond, he is from suffolk and has a bond, given to him on his 1st birthday, he was born Sept 1969.
He doesnt know his bond number so I await baited breath.I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
