    Yup,had 10k about 3 years ago :D
  • 2 x £50 for me
    1 x from £150 bonds bought september 2007

    But, can anyone beat this?
The other £50 has come from a batch of bonds bought March 2006 and its the 5th time I've won from them!

Be happy, it's the greatest wealth :)
  • Just won £50 in the Feb draw, seem to get 1 or 2 £50's a year on a £1000 so happy with that return

im not being understood here ..... i know that there are many newer bonds than older .

i actually mean my own personal bonds .... not the millions of newer bonds purchased

Trademark, no one is listening!! to what you are saying. Not your fault.

For what it is worth I believe your suspicions are correct whenever I buy new bonds they seem to come up withgin a few months and then never win again. I now have my full amount and thinking of selling and buying to see what happens.

The power of superstition never ceases to amaze me.

Trademark even noted (over 3 years ago) why their theory was statistically ridiculous, then followed this with "yawn" and proceeded to cite "their experience". It's a sample of 1! Read several other posts here for equally compelling counterexamples, then think rationally about how this pattern could ever actually occur. It cannot be by chance, and it sure as hell wouldn't be on purpose.

Is it my imagination or are there more £1000 winners than usual?

Hi all, i have 20,000 in premium bonds and have had no winnings since september. I know that the prize fund has gone down so its harder to win but i was having a lot of luck before with prize average of 150 a month and sept 250. I moved house after the sept draw and since then nothing, surley with my previous luck i should have won at least 50 since? should i email them to make sure everything is alright with my bonds since i moved or just accept my new luck? Thanks

You have TOLD them you've moved ?

    Mortgage-free Glee!

Nice to see a million pound winner with a £100 block within a 16.1K total holding, likewise the £100K winner with a £50 block within a 8.7K holding, proving you don't always have to have the full 30K holding to win big.
    But it helps!
