I had premium bonds bought for me in 1965 when I were a lad. They have not generated a single penny. I just keep the Bond cert pinned up on my notice board in front of my computer to remind me if I ever weakened NEVER to buy any myself
How much is the bond worth?
sounds unlucky to me

I cashed in 15k this month (leaving around 6k) and surprisingly won £50. That makes £950 on 21k- since last April = 4.5% tax free. Rather better than the lump I put in Kaupthing Edge!somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0

Er, £5 I think, bought for me in 1958. You see this is my point I have had PB's since then and not a single penny in winnings
