Pathetic isnt it? they cut the returns that much that it isnt worth having them any more. HM Government are having your money under false pretences and giving a paltry return with just an infinitessimal glimmer of hope.

We haven't had any for 2 months now and we have the maximum holding.

The million pound winners receive a visit on the last day of the month before, so the draw must take place in the last few days of each month.

I wrote to Nsandi early last month with suggestions about considering doing away completely with the £1M prizes and sharing it more instead with lower value pries.
They have not to date replied to me, considering they specify that I would receive a reply in the next 48 hours.

I have held Premium Bonds since the 1950's, some of which were bought for me by my parents as a child. I have yet to win anything considerable and sadly, the odds have now been drastically reduced once more. 1.8% is a pathetic amount of interest, considering that Tesco currently pay 3.6%. I feel I am really being ripped off and it's time to leave the sinking ship!

Interestingly, I have never ever heard of the identity of any of these £1M winners which makes me think, do they really exist!!!
