Thanks GB. I'm having a decent day today, I'm £750 better off that I wasn't expecting :j and the Witch is keeping me amused with her latest trick. She comes in from the garden and lays down at my feet and tries to hide the fact that she's got half a dozen lumps of gravel in her mouth. I b*****k her up hill and down dale but she keeps on doing it. Try as I might, I can't be proper mad at her. A witch she may be but she's so sweet with it

Err,:rotfl:
If ever I'm not around for a while, it's because I'm having a bad day. This Easter weekend was just that. Due to the present "war effort", I had a bad time watching couples and families enjoying themselves so I reverted to type and just worked as physically hard as I could. It's not for everyone but a few hours "hard labour" with a shovel blots most thoughts out. That, and listening to the sainted Joan Baez. Don't tell anyone but she was the first woman I ever loved(and I still do

i got areally nice frying pan from aldi last week for only £2.99 its not a bad pan at all might be worth getting one just for hubbies to use if you have good pans you cant trust them with.
they had some more expensive ones that were cast iron emanelled jobbies but you'd prabally need to be a weight lifter to use those ( on second thoughts they might come in handy to cosh DH with if he damages your other pan;) )SPC~12 ot 124

Hi everyone, I haven't posted for ages but I do pop in to keep on eye on things. This cold weather is playing havoc with my old bones and I feel a bit lazy at the moment. I spent most of yesterday in bed but dragged myself out today and DH informed me we were going out, I got quite excited 'til he said we were going to Tesco because he had a coupon for fuel. Anyway I treated myself to designer sunglasses from the new optician they have there. I got them really to hide the bags under the eyes. I had to get a large pair, lol.
Hugs and well wishes to anyone who needs them and special thoughts and love to Smokey and the children. Be kind to yourself this week, you will draw strength from the love of friends and family around you.

Hi everyone,
Second day of trying to keep on the OS straight and narrow. I accomplished everything I promised yesterday (not as good as it sounds because I actually promised very little).
Today has been back to work - hard day, I have a love/hate relationship with my job.
Tonight I plan to try to make an impact on the ironing pile, with any luck DH will do his share as well.
Hugs to all those who need one and welcome to the newbies. It's nice that we're getting a few more men posting at the moment - where are you Math?0 -
